Island House South Beach: Great Location, Needs TLC
Pros: Location: The Island House can't be beat on location. Right in the heart of South Beach, it's perfect for walking the boardwalk, hitting the beach, and exploring the area. Huge plus! Staff: The staff at Island House were fantastic. They were friendly, helpful, and always willing to answer questions or address any concerns (except maybe for the issues in the room).
Cons: Room Issues: Unfortunately, the good aspects ended with the location and staff. The breakfast was disappointing, not offering much in the way of variety or quality. Worse, my room had some significant problems. There were cockroaches, which is a major turn-off. The bathroom itself was dirty, and essential fixtures like the water tap and shower were broken. This made the room feel unhygienic and uncomfortable.

Pros: The structure may not meet expectations as it is a bit old but when traveling these are elements not to be considered (at least for me) if you stay there for a few days. As I said, the structure is a bit dated like the rooms and the bathroom but my wife and I enjoyed it all the same, the beds were comfortable and the cleanliness was excellent. Breakfast is served at the reception with packaged products, coffee and hot water for tea and it was fine for us, if you expect to receive a 5-star hotel breakfast then book elsewhere. The location is fabulous, not even 300 meters away you are on the beach and on Ocean Drive and that is already a lot. I remind newcomers to holidays that if you are looking for grand hotel services for 2/3 days you don't have to book here and then leave meaningless negative comments, if instead you are looking for a comfortable place where you can move and above all you know how to adapt then this is the right place.

Estratégico punto para pasear por Ocean Drive.
Pros: Excelente ubicación en South Beach. La habitación amplia y cómoda. El baño con todos los amenities. El personal muy atento. A un paso de la Lincoln Road.
Cons: Que no tuviera elementos de cocina completos, por ejemplo, no había cuchillos. Solo algunos vasos, cucharas y unos platos.

Cons: Sería ideal que tuviera una cafeteria, si bien ofrecen desayuno, este es con productos comerciales em autoservicio. Un desayuno servido con productos fresco seŕía espectacular.
