Hilton Vacation Club Crescent on South Beach Miami

Pros: Great place near the beach. Comfy bed, really large room.

Pros: Unbeatable location. 4th floor apartment with open view. Great and comfortable king size bed. Quality linen.

Cons: Glass door of the toilet facing the living area. No privacy.

Perfect Miami Beach getaway

Pros: The hotel is directly on Ocean Drive, 3 min walk to the beach. You can rent beach beds and umbrella on the beach for 38 USD+tax (50 if not guest of the hotel). We got beach towels. There is a Starbucks 1 min walk. - We had our breakfast here every day - much cheaper than eating out on the Ocean Dr. The checkin was in the Ocean Plaza Hotel next door. We received keys to the Ocean Plaza/McAlpin and separate keys to Crescent. We didn't use the facilities in the other buildings. We spent 7 nights, we had house keeping only once. Towels changed only once. The room is very spacious - we even had two bathrooms, the kitchen is well equipped. The road in front of the hotel is closed, so we had to carry our luggages from the corner (less than 1 min walk) but we had no problem with that. We enjoyed that we could walk on the road and it was quiet and peaceful in the evening/night. The hotel smelled very nice.

Cons: We expected that we'd have house keeping every 3 days. In one week, we only had once. During our stay, the door locks were changed and we got so many keys, in the end 2 out of 3 keys could not open our hotel front door and room door. Also, the water pipes were locally maintained and we didn't have water one night from 10 pm until 6 am. At least the staff could have given some bottles of water (other hotels do that). Also, the McAlpin Hotel next door is being renovated outside at the moment and on weekdays from 8 am to 4 pm you can expect workers running around and shouting next to your window. We also wanted to book some excursions at the reception but they were more expensive than advertised in the lobby screen. Also, some of them were not available at all. It needs to be updated. There is only one elevator, which is very slow.

Family stay at Ocean Drive Miami

Pros: Fantastic location, beautiful beaches 1 minute walk away Rooms large and with good facilities.

Great location in a great city

Pros: Excellent location on Ocean Drive. Nice and quiet, but near all the bars and restaurants. Good roof terrace with Jacuzzi. Free coffee on a morning on the veranda.

Perfect hotel to explore Miami Beach and Miami. Also not far to explore Everglades air boat tours. Hotel is at the quiet

Excellent hotel in an excellent location and close to everything you need for a stay on south beach.

Pros: The location and vibe were excellent. Lovely staff and great service all round.

Cons: The rooftop was being renovated but thankfully we had access to the other rooftops.
