A good hotel; it is a pity that the service staff (especially at the reception) do it a disservice.

Pros: An excellent location. Moreover, although located on Ocean Drive, the hotel benefits from quiet rooms.

Cons: The check-in procedure left much to be desired. I was not given the breakfast vouchers; only after three days, when I explicitly asked for them (as they were included in the price), did I receive them and was able to have breakfast. However, I would not recommend it: you may wait even 40 minutes for a coffee. The service staff are rather lacking in attentiveness. There is also a swimming pool on the rooftop of one of the buildings, but this information was not provided to me at check-in either. My conclusion is this: inform yourself about the hotel’s facilities, as you will not receive this information at check-in.

Great stay and perfect location

Pros: Great location, wonderful view from the room and balcony. Room and bathroom size. The bed was good and we had a good sleep. The pool area was nice and the staff in general was very helpful and kind. The hotel had three restaurants connected to the hotel. All of them was good.

Great location and an iconic historic hotel that has undergone tasteful and high quality renovation

Pros: Large room with amazing views across Ocean Drive and South Beach. Most staff were very helpful and addressed most issues quickly. The restaurant on the ground floor was very good.

Cons: Housekeeping were generally OK but cleanliness was not good enough and almost every day there was something missing or wrong. Towels, floor mats, coffee pods, coffee cups, etc something every day.

Very enjoyable stay in a prime beachfront setting

Pros: The room was very spacious, modern, and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent, right in front of the beach. The hotel provides free bicycles and beach chairs, which is a great bonus. Both swimming pools were excellent, and breakfast, served in one of the hotel’s restaurants through a daily voucher per person, was of good quality. In addition, the food in all three hotel restaurants was consistently very good.

Cons: Although breakfast was good, the daily voucher was never enough to cover a dish and a drink, which always meant paying an extra to complete the meal.

Fantastic location

Pros: Fantastic location and views right in the heart of south beach

Cons: Sliding door was a bit stiff to open

Stunning hotel, perfect central location, friendly staff and great vibe!

Pros: The communal areas like the lobby, bar, sun loungers, pool etc are stunning, beautifully decorated and bright and arty.

Cons: The room was smaller than anticipated, the beds, bedding and curtains in the room were very damp and almost wet and the only way to slightly alleviate this was to have the air conditioning on high, which was bitterly cold.

Great location, love the use of bikes (should have a lock for those!), fantastic pools and lounges around the pool area.

Pros: We love the pools and the history of the building.

Cons: No WiFi working in the rooms which meant no tv. The usb chargers weren’t working. All above are the very basics a hotel has to offer, especially at the price this one was, for tourists who come from abroad and need to access their bookings online, check in to flights, order food and get in touch with family. No having a tv to connect to a platform was tough as we had jet lag and were up at odd hours. Staff did their best to help with our issues and some were taken care of while others there was nothing they could do.

Perfect location in Ocean drive

Pros: Super friendly staff, perfect location and complimentary use of bicycles for hotel guests. They have valet parking service which is great if you drive. The room was a bit small but it has all needed.

Cons: In my opinion it is a bit overpriced but I guess it is because of the location (Ocean drive). Breakfast could be improved too, but not too bad.

Pros: Excellent hotel. Wonderful staff and accommodation. Thoroughly recommend.
