Sea View Hotel

Affordable beachfront property with heated pool and excellent staff

Pros: We chose this hotel because we wanted to stay at an affordable beachfront property. The hotel staff is excellent. The heated pool was a great feature, because the ocean water temperature is not always nice for swimming. As others have noted, the property is a bit dated; however, we did not mind the old-school European charm.

Cons: The adjacent property was undergoing construction during our stay. At the pool, for the most part, we, like others, tuned it out with earbuds and headphones, though the noise may be a deal-breaker for some. We would have appreciated it if the property had informed us about the construction when we made the reservation, rather than us having to ask about it.

I recommend the hotl but not the restaurant

Pros: Beautiful ocean front property, very well equipped room with balcony and beautiful ocean views. All employees were very customer focused and helpful.

Cons: The restaurant, I experienced a long delay for my food and it was not great. The waiter was very helpful and apologetic but an hours wait while everyone rushed around serving a private gathering was not pleasant.

Pros: Excellent location, 2 minutes from the ocean. Very clean. Good breakfasts. Private sun loungers on the beach. Heated swimming pool. Friendly staff.

A bit dated hotel but with great location

Pros: The location directly on the beach is a massive bonus. Definitely go for a seaview room, it is well worth it. The rooms and facilities are a bit dated but perfectly acceptable and comfortable. Some staff members are very helpful (front office), whereas others (especially beach assistants) not great at all. Overall, still a great experience.

Staff were very helpful, especially maintenance department. Gave us a bigger fridge.

Pros: It was post WW2, nostalgia vibe of the start of luxury America.

Cons: Bedroom needs a bit of renovation, eg replace soft beds & get wooden floors.

Pros: The room was nice and spacious, and the view was fenomenal. The hotel felt a little bit outdated, and in need of a renvation, but it was still a pleasant experience and this was just a minor thing. We would recommend this stay.

Very nice old style hotel with big room, comfy beds and a lovely swimming pool and beach

Pros: I liked that we could just make us tea/coffee in the room and the lovely view of city and bay from our balcony

Cons: I think, as an European, that it is exhausting that tips are expected all the time in this hotels as in others, so one has to have cash and change and give it to people all the time. Room service ladies expect tips everyday. We forgot first day and then the cleaning lady didn’t give us more coffee/tea or shampoo. That was clear message! Otherwise very nice staff in reception, bar, swimming pool and beach🥰. Plumbing could be better and the “stairs” in the pool are worn out and yellow so they could change them

3 day stay at this lovely hotel, great for exploring the Miami area!!

Pros: Convenient location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Great access to the beach

Cons: Pool heater was broken and the water in the pool was closed. Pool area very noisey because of construction work nearby.

everything we expected

Pros: The staff were excellent and efficient at both reception, activities centre and the restaurant. The room was very clean tidy and had everything as described. The location was as we anticipated and within easy reach of shops, restaurants etc. with its own private beach. There were several pools to relax around

Cons: The ongoing work around the main pool and the constant music from some of the other pool areas
