Cavalier South Beach Hotel

Short break before cruise

Pros: Short break before going on a cruise, great hotel, spotless room, great location and bed comfortable. Room not small but due to 2 queen beds they feel compact.

Cons: Air conditioning works too well!

Great place to stay all you want in a hotel

Pros: Location fab nice place a bit different from the drab chains bed was comfy and the a/c was quiet compared to the usual noisy units in most US hotels restaurant was great al in all good choice

Pros: nice hotel on Ocean Drive with historical spirit ( lift, decoration) good service

Cons: noise from the corridor under the door when other people move

Lovely quirky hotel, no tea/coffee facilities in room

Pros: The hotel was nice, decor lovely and quirky, with fresh clean linen on the beds (smelt lovely), bathroom was clean with plenty of body wash, shampoo and conditioner, the room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels supplied and right on ocean drive for all the restaurants and easy access to the beach.

Cons: 1. there was no kettle, tea/coffee or milk/sugar in the room, you had to go down to reception to make your own and carry it back up, there was also no decaf. 2. we booked a room with separate bedroom and sofa bed in living room, the bed was comfortable but the sofa bed a bit saggy, there was no door to the bedroom. 3. we booked an ocean view room, we were on the first floor (2nd floor in US), room 201, you could see Lummus Park and palm trees but sadly not a proper view of the ocean. 4. the only mirror (outside the bathroom) was in the wardrobe, which was a bit bizarre.

Pros: The hotel was excellent, the location was amazing. The rooms were very nice

Cons: The lift is very nice but also very noisy, we were in room 303 which backed into the lift so could hear it all of the time. It shouldn’t be used after a certain time unless for those really needing it to ensure those sleeping aren’t disturbed constantly

Really nice small hotel on the beach well worth a try

Pros: Location is brilliant room was nice and gig comfortable bed great views over the beach the air conditioning was quiet in fact the room was very quiet. Restaurant was good as well we ate there on the first evening. All the staff are very friendly and make you feel so welcome

Cons: Maintenance not so good. A few things needed fixing that said we told them on checked out so hopefully they will be done

I have a great time and strongly recommend this boutique hotel. Definitely worth for the money.
