Sunset Inn-South Miami

Pleasant day, the room was tidy and clean

Pros: Great location, the staff are really friendly and help me with my parking. I rented a car to make travelling easier.

Comfortable Inn Centrally Located in South Miami

Pros: The best characteristic of Sunset Inn is its location. It is walking distance to many stores, restaurants, bank and grocery store in South Miami. It is centrally located to drive to the city center, Coral, Gables, Coconut Grove, Kendall and the Airport. The room has all the basic amenity such as mini-fridge, microwave, coffee pot and corresponding dishware for a short- or long-stay. I was concerned about parking, but the Municipal Parking across the street was extremely convenient (just remember to ask for the parking pass). I also felt very safe walking around the area at any time of the day or night. Including 5:00am walks to start the day. General impression, very happy with my room.

Cons: Although the bed was comfortable for one person, if you are sharing with a second person, it can feel small. The LCD television looks worn and the edges was losing picture. I´d recommend replacing it. Communication was a little slow. Considering that the Inn does very little (if any) face-to-face interaction, all methods of communication should be responsive (email, telephone, Bookings.com Message, etc.).

Pros: This little “inn” was situated in a great location. There was food, cafes, nightlife and more all within the surrounding blocks. The room was clean and well stocked. The staff was friendly and answered questions in a prompt, professional manner. Apparently it is a renovated historic building, with businesses on the first floor & the living quarters on the second floor with a private entrance, adding to the character of the stay.

Cons: Overall this was a great place to stay just be aware these are Air BnB type hotel rooms located above businesses. There is no staffed reception area so you are given a personalized code to access the main door to the “living quarters” and your room. The only complaint I have about the room itself is the curtains were not black-out grade so the light from the parking lot outside was vaguely visible all night but it didn’t really matter to us, as we were so exhausted from our travels.

We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay there again. Location was great!

Pros: We were very pleased with our rooms. Beds were comfortable, room was cleaned, had extra sheets and blankets. The shower was very small but the water was hot and had complimentary bodywash and shampoo. AC worked great. Nice location. Linen was clean. Staff were great and kept in communication about everything throughout the stay.

Cons: Small shower and 1 of the rooms had a mildew smell but everything was great will would definitely stay there again!!

Pros: facilité d'accès et proposition de parking. le cartier est très beau et vivant. La ville est belle

Cons: UNE seule chose : les fenêtres. Impossible de les ouvrir et aérer l'appart, pas de double vitrage (l'appart est très bruyant), les stores ne sont pas occultants (trop de lumière le matin)

Très bon logement au calme et avec un accès facile au centre de Miami.

Pros: La localisation à quelques pas du métrorail et dans un quartier sympa. La présence d’une kitchenette avec de la vaisselle. Beaucoup de linge de toilette. La propreté. Le calme.

Cons: Le futon n’était pas du tout confortable. Pas de volets et donc beaucoup de lumière la nuit. Pas d’accès à la machine à laver (obligation d’appeler pour obtenir un code or pas de téléphone sur place, juste Internet et notre demande est restée sans réponse).

Pros: Tolle Lage, viele schöne Lokale und Geschäfte in der Nähe, trotzdem nicht allzu laut. Großzügiges Zimmer mit viel Platz

Cons: Zugang zum Gebäude mit vierstelligen Code, wurde per WhatsApp zugeschickt, hat aber leider erstmal nicht funktioniert. So stand ich spätabends erstmal vor verschlossener Tür und musste den Support kontaktieren. Hilfe war aber sofort zur Stelle.

Volveremos

Pros: Nos gusto mucho la habitación y el detalle de las sabanas para el sofá cama , ideal la ubicación, cerca de la Universidad de Miami donde fuimos a la graduación de nuestra hija y de la zona de los Restaurantes en South Miami, caminando llegamos a Casa Cuba para nuestro almuerzo por el Día de la Madre.

Cons: En general todo excelente

Clean and comfy, steps away from restaurants and public transportation in a safe and pretty neighborhood.

Pros: Very clean and well-appointed. Fantastic location, especially for those wanting to travel by Metrorail. Responsive and friendly booking agents/staff. Would definitely stay there again!

Pros: Very clean and tidy. Microwave, kitchen sink, mini fridge, excellent centralized location, excellent value.

Cons: The bathroom door did not close all the way, TV did not work.
