The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and well-equipped with strong air conditioning, comfortable bedding, and attractive bathrooms. Many feature private balconies overlooking Ocean Drive and partial ocean views. The rooftop pool and bar provide a serene, stylish retreat with impressive city skyline vistas, complemented by a superb restaurant serving fresh, eclectic cuisine. The staff are notably friendly and welcoming, contributing to a smooth and enjoyable experience. Overall, The Local House delivers outstanding comfort, cleanliness, and location, making it a highly recommended choice for Miami Beach.

Cons: One minor drawback is the bathroom privacy glass, which transmits significant light into the sleeping area—especially on its automatic timer during nighttime use—potentially disturbing light sleepers.

Pros: We poker everything. That’s how a place for vacations should be! Clean, very good brunches and diners, and very very friendly staff!! We liked very much. If one day I’ll come back to Miami Beach, I’ll come here!! Thank you

Lovely and recreational stay after transatlantic arrival

Great stay, lovely room, very clean and lovely staff.

Pros: The staff are so efficient and friendly. The room was large and the bed very comfortable.

Cons: It would have been good to have a dinner service but the local restaurant recommended was excellent (Taco/Mexican). I found the shower a bit difficult to work out re temperature

Great location, friendly team

Pros: Near the beach. In a quiet, residential location but close to the vibrant Ocean Drive restaurants and bars. Staff were very jolly and helpful - would definitely recommend, especially good value for money. Free use of the local beach club was a real bonus.

Cons: Decor is a little dated, but everything was clean and in good condition, and for the price we paid, it was excellent value for what we wanted.

Pros: Excellent location at the quiet end of Ocean drive and only a short walk to many dining experiences.

A special thank you to Eddy, the Front Desk Manager, for his professionalism and genuine kindness — he made sure every detail of my stay was perfect. Katherine, the General Manager, leads the hotel with such warmth and care, creating a welcoming atmosphere that truly feels like home. And Amarilis, our amazing server, added a special touch with her friendly attitude and attentive service. This hotel perfectly captures the spirit of South Beach — stylish, comfortable, and full of heart. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Miami.

Pros: The location was perfect. The place smelled like heaven. And you guys have some of the best staff we’ve ever met during our travels all over the world. Eddie was particularly helpful.

Cons: Nothing I can think of honestly. The air conditioning started leaking water one night but it wasn’t anything too bad.
